1. Check Computer Specifications Via Properties

Please open File Explorer on your computer, then right-click on This PC / My Computer and select Properties.

After you click Properties, a display will appear regarding the specifications of your laptop or computer. Information displayed includes Windows series, processor used, RAM size, operating system used, computer name, domain, and more.

2. Check Computer Specifications Via System Information

The second way to check your computer's specifications is to use system information on a computer or laptop. For a very easy way to access it, please press Windows + R and type msinfo32, then click OK.

After that, System Information will appear with a blue monitor image icon. Please click the monitor icon to enter System Information.

Later, information about the specifications of your laptop will appear, as shown in the following image. System Information gives you the complete specifications of your computer. This menu displays information about hardware resources, components, and the software environment.

3. Check Computer Specifications Via CMD

In addition to using the previous two methods, you can also check computer specifications using the Command Prompt (CMD). It's easy, press the Windows + R key, then type "cmd" and press Enter.

After that, a command prompt pop-up will appear. Next, please enter the command systeminfo and press Enter. Later, the full specifications of your computer will be displayed at the command prompt.

4. Check Computer Specifications Via dxdiag

The fourth way to check the specifications of your laptop is to use the DirectX Diagnostic Tool or dxdiag. Please open the Run menu as before, press the Windows + R key, type "dxdiag" and press Enter. Wait for the DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up to appear.

The pop-up will display information on your laptop or computer, which includes System, Display, Sound, and Input. You can check each menu tab to see the information you need.

5. Check Computer Specifications with CPU-Z


The next way to check laptop specifications is to use the CPU-Z program. To check computer specifications using CPU-Z, please download the application first. You can download CPU-Z via the following link:

After download the application, please install CPU-Z to completion. Open the CPU-Z application, wait until the loading process is complete. After that information about the specifications of your computer will be displayed in the application.
